Welcome to planDisney, Matt!
There's something uniquely magical about bringing your child to Walt Disney World Resort. Seeing the magic through their eyes will "give you all the feels." There's that moment when you turn onto Main Street, U.S.A., and they catch that first glimpse of
Cinderella Castle, and their face lights up. Make sure you get the camera ready, Matt. If you're someone who likes to capture a lot of memories, you may even consider purchasing the
Memory Maker for your trip. My family always does this, and we get tons of great photos together.
Matt, Mouseketeers under the age of 3 possess the honored status of "Guest of Mickey" and therefore do not need a ticket to enter Walt Disney World theme parks. Disney does not require parents to show proof of age for their little ones. This is all done on an honor-based system. That also means that, since they don't have a ticket, they don't need to purchase a
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Therefore, if you have purchased this service, your child is able to enter the Lightning Lane entrance with you.
Matt, make sure you check out the amazing
planDisney videos about taking your kids to Walt Disney World. We have an ever-growing library of videos to help parents plan their next trip. Happy planning!
Mike
