Hiya Tori,
It is great to have you here at planDisney. I love helping friends plan magical
Walt Disney World Resorts with their little ones. We have been taking our boys to Disney World since they were babies, and while they may not remember a trip when they were a few months old, I sure do. I loved watching their eyes light up to all the colors, sounds, attraction and characters. One of my favorite memories was watching my 1 year old rub Mickey Mouse's nose while smiling from ear to ear.
Good news for parents who cannot keep shoes on their toddler's feet, much less a bracelet on their wrist. A
MagicBand is not required by any guest. While they do provide Guests with numerous features (especially the new MagicBand+ that was just released) including theme park admission, Disney resort room access and the ability to charge to your room, Guests are not required to use them to enjoy their stay. Additionally, children under the age of three do not need a theme park admission ticket. And since I doubt your little one will need to open their resort room or be charging to the room, they would not have a need for a MagicBand.
On a side note, if you were not aware, there is a great
Baby Care Center at each theme park. This is a great place to for nursing moms to sit and relax with their little one, to change a diaper or even escape the Florida sun for a few moments. I hope this helps make your trip even more magical. If I can answer any additional planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
