Welcome to planDisney, Emily!
Thank you for stopping by with a great question about
MagicBands! It is a pleasure to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family!
As the mother of an almost 2-year-old, I am happy to share that since Mouseketeers under the age of 3 do not require theme park tickets, they also do not need MagicBands. All Guests who do not wish to purchase a MagicBand are welcome to use a
Key to the World card (available for Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel), a regular ticket card, or
Disney MagicMobile service. Please note, however, that your little one may become interested in MagicBands if she sees other family members wearing one. My baby loves imitating her big sister, so I plan to bring a MagicBand from a previous visit if she decides she wants one too!
planDisney tips: Did you know that all four theme parks offer
Baby Care Centers? They are the perfect place if you need to stop for a diaper change, a snack, a break, or even purchase items like baby food, wipes, and more!
I hope this helps you while planning, Emily! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
