Hello and welcome to planDisney, Melinda!
Thank you for stopping by today with your very first question! We are delighted to assist you as you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort adventure for your family!
I have been visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth with my oldest daughter since she was four, and we have made countless pixie-dusted memories over the years. There is nothing more special than
experiencing the magic through the eyes of our Mouseketeers. All four theme parks have so many attractions for kids, and I appreciate how most were designed for
families to enjoy together.
I have never been requested to present my daughter’s ID while entering the theme parks. Still, since I am an international visitor, I always carry my ID and keep digital copies of our passports and my daughter’s birth certificate on my phone. If you are worried about taking identification for your child, you could make a digital copy of their birth certificate and keep the original document in the in-room safe at your hotel.
planDisney tip: Please note that all Guests ages 3 and older are required to have both valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same date, so be sure to purchase tickets and make
Disney Park Pass reservations for your 6-year-old child.
I hope this information is helpful, Melinda. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and check out our
Panel Extras for more tips and advice as you plan your visit!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
