Greetings, and welcome back to
planDisney, Raquel, we thank you for this excellent question!
Raquel, I'm really glad that you're preparing for your upcoming
Disney Cruise Line sailing and asking such important questions, as safety protocols and measures are on a continuum, therefore it is best to keep on top of every category in the
Disney Cruise Line Know Before You Go resource and make your checklist.
The current Disney Cruise Line requirements state that "all vaccine-eligible Guests (based on US eligibility requirements) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at the time of sailing. This is a requirement for all Guests (US and international) ages 5 and older. Guests who are not vaccine-eligible because of age must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by the Guest) taken between 3 days and 24 hours before their sail date. Guests ages 4 and under must complete the testing requirements. The test should be a NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests are not accepted." (

Therefore, the current simplest answer is that since your daughter is 7 years of age she must be vaccinated unless she is not vaccine-eligible, thereby requiring
accepted proof of a negative NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test between 3 days and 24 hours before her sail date.
In preparation for your sailing, I highly recommend you complete your
Online Check-In to complete the required cruise documents that you will need to present at the Port, as well as select your Port arrival time - completing these steps streamlines your time at the cruise terminal. Kindly arrive at your designated time and not earlier, as you will then be asked to return for your designated arrival time. Sign in to your Disney Cruise Line account to access your
Online Check-In from the
My Reservation section under the
Already Booked tab on the main page.
Tips:Please download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing. The app will come in very handy once onboard by enabling clear communication between you and your fellow cruise mates, you'll have access to your reservation, and all your booked activities and Port Adventures, you'll be able to access the activity, character and entertainment schedule and if travelling with another party, you'll be able to link reservations and enjoy your dining together.
During your sailing, take a look at the
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or by referring to your paper copy of the
Personal Navigator which will be in your stateroom nightly at turndown for the next day. By booking a future sailing while on your current cruise you will enjoy a good savings incentive and be able to select from a variety of available staterooms and itineraries. I always do this to make disembarkation day a little more pleasant.
Raquel, it was my pleasure assisting you today, and I wish you the most magical Disney Cruise Line vacation!
