My 7 year old meets the height requirement for Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest. Does an adult have to ride with him or can he ride with his 11 year old sister?

    Hi Staci,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian.

Your little one must be so excited to be tall enough to experience Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Based on the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, it seems as though children over the age of 7 can ride any Walt Disney World Resort attraction alone. That may mean that he can experience both of these attractions with his older sister because he’d be “of age” to ride alone.

Please note, however, that Guests under the age of 7 must be accompanied by another Guest over the age of 14 on any attraction. Plus, Guests under 14 years of age must be accompanied by another Guest over 14 in order to enter any Theme Park, Water Park or NBA Experience

I hope my answer helps you plan a thrilling visit to Walt Disney World Resort for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
