Our 2 year old is medically fragile with a list of disorders and complications. If we book a disney vacation and she is too sick to travel can we transfer dates on short notice?

    Hi Rusti--

Walt Disney World has a 45 day cancellation policy.  If changes occur closer than 45 days till your arrival date you can incur extra charges.  I would suggest, in your specific situation to look at the option of purchasing vacation insurance

Here's some details from the Walt Disney World Travel Company about cancellations/rescheduling:

    Cancellation of Reservation
For a cancellation made 44 to 7 days prior to guest arrival, there is a cancellation fee of $100 per package plus any cancellation fees assessed by 3rd party hotels or suppliers.

For a cancellation may 6 days or less prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of $200 per package plus any cancellation fees assessed by 3rd party hotels or suppliers.

Guest will be responsible for any cancellation fees assessed by an airline.

    Changes to Reservation
For a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival that results in a change in the package price, a change fee of $50 per package plus change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers, will be charged.  Disney reserves the right to restrict changes to any reservation.

    I hope this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
