Hello Christina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I fondly remember visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my (then) 2-year old son and taking advantage of all of the complementary elements afforded to young children. I even planned a last-minute vacation just before he turned 3 for one last "hurrah" before having to purchase
Theme Park Admission for him on every subsequent vacation.
The good news is that every registered member of your traveling party receives a
MagicBand when staying at a Resort Hotel. This was crucial for my family as my son insisted on scanning his every chance he got, even though he was not required to do so. He was not going to be denied!
In terms of
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel rates, the rate is based on the room itself and not the age or number of Guests that are visiting. Resort Hotels do have a maximum occupancy that cannot be surpassed by the number of Guests and every Guest staying in a Resort Hotel room must be registered.
Children under 3 are granted complimentary access to the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex with an accompanying adult on a paid admission.
Have a Magical Visit!
