My 5 year old loves Phineas and Ferb, have they added them as characters and do they have a meet and greet at any of the parks, are they part of any character dining experience or parade?

    Hi Julie:

My family loves Phineas and Ferb. Unfortunately, as of now, the pair does not make regular appearances at Walt Disney World parks.

Characters in the parks are always changing and there is always a possibility that Phineas and Ferb will start marking regular park appearances at some point in the future. I don't know if this means anything for the future, but I noticed that Phineas and Ferb made a Disneyland appearance while my family was watching the 2009 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. I also spotted Phineas and Ferb at the end of the January 2010 Disney World half-marathon cheering the runners on as we ran by them. Hopefully the duo will be regularly appearing at Disney World soon, along with Perry and even Doofenshmirtz. While it's no substitute, I've seen Phineas and Ferb merchandise for sale in certain stores in Walt Disney World.

Since things can change between now and your next Disney World visit, just to be 100% certain, you may want to stop by guest relations at any of the theme parks during your next trip and ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The character hotline will be able to tell you if and where any particular character will be in the parks that day.

    Enjoy your vacation.
