Hi Gilda,
I recently had a similar experience, but in reverse! My family visits Walt Disney World often but had never visited Disneyland. It was so interesting to head to Disneyland and see the similarities and differences between the two resorts.
I absolutely agree with your plan to visit
Epcot. It is my family's favorite Disney theme park, and is unique. Both Future World and World Showcase are filled with wonderful attractions and experiences. And, at this time of year, you will be able to take in the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This amazing festival adds international food kiosks, culinary demonstrations, concerts, and so much more to the already amazing Epcot!
I do hear your dilemma about choosing for a second theme park between visiting Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom. For you, I am going to recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom. Heading to Magic Kingdom would be fun, to be sure. Having been to Disneyland so many times, you would be able to compare some of the attractions that are in both California and Florida, such as Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. However, as you point out, there are many similarities between Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.
At
Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will experience a theme park like no other. As you point out, you can visit Pandora - The World of Avatar, which is beautiful and has amazing attractions. Also do not forget that the rest of the park is filled with wonderful entertainment, such as Festival of the Lion King, and opportunities to see exotic animals such as on Kilimanjaro Safaris.
No matter which theme park you choose, I am sure that you will have a wonderful time, Gilda!
