Do 2 year old kids need to be included in the number for dinner reservations?

    Hey Georgia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about advance dining reservations at Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World Resort is wild about safety! Guest safety is of utmost importance, which is why we ask that you always include everyone in your party in your dining reservations — including little ones!

Although your tiny Mouseketeers under the age of 3 eat for free at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, they should be included in your reservation and in the final number you share with the hostess in order to comply with safety regulations. If there is any kind of emergency at the restaurant or theme park you're dining in, it is important for the Cast Members to know exactly how many Guests are present at the time.

In addition, by knowing exactly how many Guests are in your party, you can be better accommodated in a table with enough space for high chairs.

Disney Mom Tip: Please visit the “Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones” planning guide for more tips about traveling “the World” with little ones!

Georgia, if you have any additional questions about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are all EARS!

    Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
