Ahoy Chevis!
Your DREAM vacation is almost here! In just a few days, you’ll be setting sail for the Bahamas with two wonderful ports: Nassau and
Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island.
Two areas that are tailor made for toddlers are the water playground and pools. On the Disney Dream, Disney-Pixar’s
Finding Nemo is the inspiration for a lively splash zone called
Nemo’s Reef. With Mr. Ray as a waterslide and Nemo and Dory as water squirters, kids are sure to have a splashtastic time. The pools are magnets for
potty trained kiddos, and for good reason!
Mickey’s Pool and
Donald’s Pool are so much fun, especially while watching Disney movies on the giant Funnel Vision screen.
Feel free to bring swimmies/floaties, water wings, vests, or bathing suits with flotation devices for your three-year-old. But if you don’t want to tote those onboard, complimentary life vests are provided. Keep in mind that these vests are to be used onboard, and there are separate ones available on Castaway Cay. Just one of the many ways that Captain Mickey makes
traveling with little ones a breeze!
What sets Disney Cruise Line nautical miles ahead of its competition is all the magic: from deck parties and fireworks at sea to fun
character greetings, including the ever-popular Princess Gathering where Disney princesses show up for hugs and autographs and pose for photos. To reserve tickets before your cruise begins, visit the "My Cruise Activities" tab on the Disney Cruise Line.
Just keep swimming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more questions. Have a DREAMy cruise!
Happy Sailing!
