Hello moms I have a 4 and a 5 year old and im takin them to Disney as a surprise Christmas gift ill be the dec.20th through the 28th of dec.. do they still have disney activities goin on the week for Christmas. ..

Hello Karina! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  My family and I love visiting Walt Disney World over Christmas week.  In fact, we'll be there the same time as you this year!

What I love about spending Christmas at Disney is that it is a good mix of both.  There are still so many Disney activities to enjoy.  All of the rides, character meet and greets and most places to eat are all the same year round.  When you are there, you'll get a complete Disney experience.  Then there are some holiday activities thrown in the mix too which is like a huge bonus.  The week of Christmas, the 3:00 p.m. parade turns into Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade which is so special to see pals like Mickey and Goofy alongside of Santa wishing you a Merry Christmas.  You'll also be able to enjoy a special firework display that week- Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season. That's a do not miss in my opinion, it is breathtaking.  Not to mention all of the beautiful holiday decorations around the parks.  You'll find so many spots that make you want to stop and take a family picture because it's beautiful.

I hope you're assured that your vacation will be 100% Disney! I think you are going to love all of the holiday extras too.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
