Greetings, Norma! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
We travel a lot with my sister-in-law who eats a gluten free diet and she has never been disappointed with her options while dining in the parks. The Disneyland Resort is extremely accommodating to those with
food allergies and other dietary needs. Nearly every dining location, whether it be quick service or table service, will have allergy menus available upon request. These will list which items are safe to eat for those with varying allergies. Additionally, you can ask to speak with a chef or a specially-trained Cast Member who can guide you through ordering food that meets your dietary needs.
While there isn’t a comprehensive list of gluten free options available online, you can take a look at the menus for restaurants like Flo’s V8 Café, Smokejumpers Grill, Galactic Grill, and the Hungry Bear Restaurant. These menus now list all the variations of food for each type of allergy. You can expect similar menus at other restaurants when you visit the parks. Furthermore, if you plan to use the new
mobile ordering option through the
Disneyland app, you can select gluten free items from certain restaurants when you order ahead.
I have no doubt that your grandson will have a great time eating his way through the Disneyland Resort! See ya real soon!
