    We are going to take our 8 year old grandson for all of our first trip to disneyworld. We only have one day park tickets. Are we able to ride the monorail or is that only for people with park hopper tickets? I am able to walk, but have a wheelchair also

    Hi, Annette!   How fun to share a day of Disney with your grandson!  

    With a one day base ticket, you are able to visit only one theme park.   Although you cannot visit a second park, you are welcome to ride the monorail!   For example, if you choose your one park to be the Magic Kingdom, you might want to hop on the resort monorail and take a lap around to see the beautiful Deluxe Resorts just outside the gates of the Magic Kingdom.   Or, if you want, you can take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and switch monorails to go see Epcot.   You will get a nice "sky-high" tour of Epcot from right inside your monorail car.   It then returns to the TTC where you can transfer back to the Magic Kingdom. 

    The monorails are accessible, so you will not have to transfer from your wheelchair.
