My 76 year old grandmother is going to visit Disneyland in May and I would like to know if she has to wait in the line for the rides or does she have a easy access?

    Hiya! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm so pleased to hear that your grandmother has a trip to the Disneyland Resort in just a few short weeks! She is visiting during the return of Pixar Fest, a celebration of Disney-Pixar films, friendship, and beyond. If she enjoys nighttime spectaculars, she may love to see Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland Park.

Regarding your question, I believe that your grandmother would be interested in the Disability Access Service (DAS). She can register in person on the day of her visit at a Guest Relations location in either of the two parks. If she is eligible for the service, she will receive DAS for the duration of her ticket. During the registration process, the Cast Member can help her choose the attractions she would like to experience during her visit and answer any questions she may have.

If possible, I recommend your grandmother have access to the Disneyland Mobile App. She can use the app to make DAS return time selections. She can also use the Disneyland App to enter the parks, check entertainment showtimes, and place Mobile Orders for food and drinks.

I hope this is helpful to you. I wish your grandmother the happiest visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Your Pal,
    Alejandra
