Hi Amy!
Welcome to planDisney! Oh my goodness, you are in for such a stellar treat! Dining at
Space 220 Lounge is like taking your taste buds on a galactic journey while floating 220 miles above Earth. I know your granddaughters are going to think you’re the coolest grandparent in the universe!
Now, about those
reservations… It sounds like you were able to secure two separate tables of two. Typically, Cast Members will do their best to seat your party together if you let them know upon arrival that you’re one family. While I can’t promise they’ll be able to combine the tables (sometimes space is truly limited up there among the stars), I’ve found that Cast Members often sprinkle a little extra pixie dust whenever possible to help families sit near each other.
Here’s my tip: arrive a little early for your reservation and kindly explain your situation to the host. Even if you can’t be at the exact same table,
the lounge is relatively cozy, so you’ll still be close by and able to enjoy the experience together. And since the lounge allows Guests of all ages, your 9-year-old explorers are more than welcome to join the mission!
I hope your time at Space 220 is out-of-this-world and filled with cosmic bites, starry views, and plenty of memories with your granddaughters. If you need more tips for navigating
EPCOT with kids, I’m happy to help!
To infinity and delicious bites,
Emille
