    My 6 year old granddaughter is listed as "plans managed by me". Can my adult daughter also manage her plans from her phone? If so how?

    Welcome to planDisney, Patricia!  

    It looks like your very special vacation is just around the riverbend! You’re arriving just in time for the grand finale of the World’s Most Magical Celebration, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. Traveling with family is so special, and I’m happy to help you configure your accounts so that both you and your daughter may manage your granddaughter’s plans.  

    This update must be done on the Walt Disney World website on a computer rather than on your phone, but the new settings will then allow you to manage her plans from your phone. Please follow these steps: 

    1. Log into your Disney account on the Walt Disney World website. 
    2. On the far right of the top banner, hover your mouse over My Disney Experience. The menu will expand.
    3. Select My Family & Friends. A new page will open with your Family & Friends list. 
    4. Navigate to your granddaughter’s name and click Update. Her details will expand on that page.  
    5. You’ll see a new section where you can indicate Guests Who Can Manage (her) Plans and Photos. I suggest you select All Plans and Disney PhotoPass Photos for your daughter here. Your daughter will have to do the same on her My Disney Experience account to be sure your granddaughter is added to her list correctly. 

    When complete, both you and your daughter should see your granddaughter listed and indicated that you both manage her plans.

    Be sure to download and become familiar with the My Disney Experience app on your phones before leaving for vacation, Patricia. This will give you both peace of mind and make navigating the app on vacation much easier. My favorite features to practice at home are Mobile Order, Virtual Queues, maps, attraction wait times, and the Disney Genie Service Tip Board tab.
