My 5 year old granddaughter is coming to visit and we will be taking her to Disneyland. Is there a place that she can have a meal with the princesses?I have a friend who went to breakfast with the Princesses at Walt Disney World, hoping to do the same in CA

    Hi, Constance!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting us with your great question about character dining at the Disneyland Resort.

There is a restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park where you and your granddaughter can dine with Disney royalty. I love the whimsical undersea atmosphere and character interactions during “Ariel’s Disney Princess Celebration” at Ariel’s Grotto, and I think you both would, too. It’s a great way to meet and get photos with a handful of beloved Disney princesses.

Character dining at Ariel’s Grotto is not offered during dinner, when the World of Color meal is available instead. If you’d like to experience the character dining there, be sure to make a character dining reservation for breakfast or lunch. Dining reservations can be made at Disneyland.com or by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463).

I hope this helps, Constance. Please feel free to write back with any other planning questions you may have!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
