We are going with a 3 1/2 year old (girl) and a 1 year old (boy). Any recommendations for these kids on what to do we are planning on doing the Magic kingdom 2 days, 1 day at Epcot (more for mom and dad) and a morning at Animal Kingdom.

Carrie, you all are going to have so much fun watching the excitement and wonder in their eyes. Here are my suggestions for some must-dos with your little ones in each of these parks!

    Magic Kingdom:
    • it's a small world
    • Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    • Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak Station (they can get quite wet, but lots of fun)
    • Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid
    • Country Bear Jamboree (this classic show is great place to cool off or take a break in A/C)
    • Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    Epcot:
    • Turtle Talk with Crush (another great spot to take a break and the kids will love it)
    • The Seas with Nemo & Friends
    • Journey into Imagination (there is one spot in this ride where it gets all dark and then a quick burst of air hits you in the face, so be mindful of this if your kids get easily spooked)
    • Kidcot Fun Stops (this is a great way for the kids to enjoy the World Showcase while mom and dad take in the countries)
    Animal Kingdom
    • The Boneyard (great enclosed play area with lots of different areas for the kids to run around and have fun)
    • Affection Section in Rafiki's Planet Watch (petting area with goats, sheep, pigs, etc., no worries, mom, there are hand washing areas)
    • Triceratop Spin
    • Finding Nemo - The Musical (amazing puppetry show)
    • Kilimanjaro Safari (great way to see the savannah animals, but it is a rather bumpy ride!)
Don't forget to keep those little ones hydrated! Parades and shows are always a great way to stop and take a break, especially if they are zonked in a stroller. Check the times guides for the most current info and schedules. I hope this gave you a glimpse at some of my favorites for that age group. May you enjoy their giggles of delight as you have a pixie dusted vacation.
