Hi there, Cindy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question about your fast-approaching trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I don’t know about you, but once I hit the 30-day mark until vacation, that is ALL I can think about! The countdown to your magical vacation is ON!!
Just thinking about five full days in the park makes MY legs tired so I can only imagine how tired a seven-year old’s legs would get! I, too, have a seven-year old and I know he would not make it, so you are right in thinking ahead for how to best combat those long, tiring days! There are
strollers to rent at each of the theme parks for Guests to use within the theme parks, but please be advised that they cannot be moved from theme park to theme park. So, if you are planning on using a
Park Hopper admission ticket, you will need to pick up a new stroller at each theme park you visit. The single stroller's recommended weight capacity is 50lbs and the double stroller's recommended capacity is 100lbs. So, based on the size of your Mouseketeer, I would possibly consider the double stroller – both for her comfort AND your ease of pushing. I cannot share a photo of the exact strollers available to rent at the theme parks, but if you do a quick search online, I am certain many photos will pop up for you to view. Strollers are on a first-come, first-served basis and unfortunately cannot be reserved ahead of time, but since it sounds like you plan on starting your day at the theme parks early, I wouldn’t anticipate you running into too much trouble getting one each morning at that first theme park you visit!
If you haven’t yet gotten all your
advanced dining reservations made, now is the time to do so! And remember, if you can’t get everything you want before you leave for Orlando, check back as other Guests’ plans will often change creating immediate availability!
Wishing you an incredible vacation filled with many magical memories!
Stephanie
