Is my 2 year old free?

Hi Diana! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Bringing a toddler to the Walt Disney World Resort is an absolute blast! I recently was looking through pictures of one of our vacations when my son was that same age and couldn’t help but smile. His face in each photo was full of awe and delight!

I have great news for you! Little ones ages 2-years-old and under are considered Guests of Mickey and do not require a theme park ticket. Guests ages 3-years-old and above do need a theme park ticket. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and purchasing any of the Disney dining plans, your 2-year-old will not be eligible for a dining plan, but you can certainly share off of your own plate or purchase a separate meal for your kiddo.

When it comes to FastPass+ selections, only those in your party with tickets will make selections, but your toddler will be able to accompany you in the FastPass+ line as long as that ride does not have a height requirement. On dining reservations, however, you will need to include your 2-year-old on the reservation so your table can be configured correctly and the restaurant can maintain safety standards for capacity limits.

I hope this information helps with all of your last-minute planning details, Diana! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
