My 7 year old had foot surgery last April and is still recovering. He is not supposed to do a lot of climbing but can swim. As we will also have our 10 and 7 year old with us, can you tell me which water park would have the most options for us?

    Hi Leah,

I think Typhoon Lagoon is the best park for your family.  I'm assuming that your son shouldn't be climbing too many steps to go down slides.  Typhoon Lagoon has a gigantic wave pool, a lazy river, and a shark reef where you can snorkel and see live sharks.  There are plenty of water slides as well, but you will have to climb stairs to access these.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
