i have a 3 1/2 year old this is our first trip to disney, we are trying to decide if we should or need to have a stroller or if it is better to get a child leash and let her walk? i am not sure with having a stroller if it will make it harder to get around

Hi, Christie, With a 3 year old (or even a 4, 5, or 6 year old!) a stroller is a must!   You can bring one from home or they are available for rent at all the theme parks and Downtown Disney.  Stroller rental can get a bit pricey, so bring your own if at all possible.

Strollers can be taken on buses but must be folded prior to boarding.   You will find stroller parking areas throughout all the theme parks, so you will find it quite easy having a stroller and really a necessity.     After a long day of walking, you will be glad to have your little one happily seated and rolling right along!    Have a great vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
