Does my 9 year old have to eat from the children's buffet at the Crystal Palace. We are on the Dinning Plan. Thanks

    Hi Janet!

In Walt Disney World, a child is considered to be someone who is 3 to 9 years old and anyone 10 years old and older is considered to be an adult.  For a buffet meal, the cost for a child's buffet meal is less than an adult's meal and that is the only difference between the two.  The children do not have to select food items from the kid's section of the buffet, but they can eat what they like from the entire buffet.  Adults can select items from the kid's section of the buffet as well.  I had breakfast at Crystal Palace in December 2010 and I fell in love with the Pooh's Toast in the kid's section of the buffet.  I have to admit that I stopped there more more than once during my breakfast!  If children are eating a a non-buffet, table service restaurant in Walt Disney World, then they will have to order from the children's menu.

I hope you and your family enjoy Winnie the Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
