Hello there, Gerardo! Thanks for visiting planDisney. How wonderful that your 16-year-old wants to experience Disney magic at the parks.
The current policy for the
Disneyland SoCal Resident Ticket is that Guests 18 years of age and older need to show a government-issued photo ID, so your kid should be good to go to the parks without showing an ID. To purchase the ticket online, an eligible billing address and
MyDisney Account address will be needed. Also, before your kiddo visits, please make sure they have a valid theme park admission ticket and park reservation. Gerardo, I also want to mention that if they are accompanied by another Guest 18 years of age or older, that Guest will likely be asked for their ID. It is ultimately up Cast Members at the main entrance to ask!
The SoCal ticket offer expires in mid-May 2025, and
theme park reservations may fill up before then. Be sure to purchase your kid's ticket soon if they want to make good use of it before the deal ends! If your 16-year-old wants even more time for fun, you might want to look into the
Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer, which begins May 16 and ends August 14, 2025. There are 3- and 4-day options for this deal (park reservations required). Gerardo, you can always see all the current ticket offers on the
"Offers & Discounts" page of the Disneyland website.
I hope this information helps, Gerardo. If you have any other questions, visit us again!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
