Hello there, Michael!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to ask us a question about the
Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like your family is planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer. I hope you’re looking forward to all the pixie-dusted adventures that are sure to come your way!
I’m a firm believer in making vacation memories with your little ones early on. That’s why my own children were still infants when they started exploring the theme parks with us! The best part of taking young children on a Disney vacation is that kids under the age of three get into the theme parks for free! So no, your two-year-old won’t need a
theme park ticket or a theme park reservation to enter a theme park with you.
Furthermore, please note that as of January 9, 2024,
theme park reservations were no longer required for Guests with date-based tickets. Reservations are still needed for certain types of admission, however, including student group tickets, Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets,
Disney Military Salute Tickets, and
Annual Passes.
I hope this information helps you plan, Michael, and that your visit is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please stop by planDisney again to ask any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
