My 2 year old doesn’t need a ticket to enter the park but do I need to include her in the number count for dining? Also, what about things we have a fast pass for? We are NOT staying on site. Thank you!

    Hi, there!

Maria, you are going to love experiencing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort with your little one. The memories you make together there are sure to be priceless! Mickey Mouse loves hosting itty bitty Guests, but knowing what plans your little one needs to be formally included in can be confusing. I'm happy to answer your questions to clear that up for you!

When you make your dining reservations, you do need to include your daughter in the total Guest count. You are not required to order food for her, but the restaurants need to know exactly how many Guests will be present for the reservation. I highly suggest making at least one reservation for a Character Dining Experience. I love these dining experiences for my little ones because I know they'll enjoy kid-friendly fare AND the fantastic company of some of their favorite Disney characters. At buffet-type restaurants like Chef Mickey's and all-you-can-eat restaurants like The Garden Grill, your 2-year old can eat for free! How great is that?

When selecting FastPass+ experiences for your group, you do not need to include your daughter. She is simply welcome to enter the FastPass+ line with you! I don't recommend selecting a FastPass+ for Dumbo the Flying Elephant or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh; these attractions have interactive queues that will keep your daughter happy and active while she waits to ride!

Thanks for stopping by, Maria. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
