My 15 year old is going to Disney. I went to add a payment to his profile and it’s not showing. Is there an age limit to add a payment card?

    Hi Charnley! Welcome to planDisney.

I bet your son is beyond excited to head on over to the Sunshine State to The World's Most Magical Place on Earth. If he is a thrill seeker, advise him not to miss the new out-of-this-world attractions. Over at Magic Kingdom Park, he will want to join the grid at TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise®. On his EPCOT day, he can save the galaxy on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Both of these are complimentary by joining the virtual queue.

For their safety, minors cannot store forms of payment on their My Disney Experience Account. I suggest you send him to the parks with a Disney Gift Card. You can even manage his card from home and reload money as needed. With this feature, you could technically give him a daily budget. Disney Gift Cards are accepted at almost all venues at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay for Mobile Orders in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. A quick tip is to keep your gift card number in your Notes app to copy and paste for quick checkouts.

I am linking six short helpful videos that explain all aspects of Disney Genie Service. This service helps maximize your park day while minimizing wait times. I am sending Pixie Dust wishes he has the trip of a lifetime.

    Keeping it Magical,
