Hi Karla!
Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your 2-year old cruiser will have so much fun sailing aboard the
Disney Magic alongside Captain Mickey! We just came back from sailing the high seas with our toddler and had such a fun time! We've been taking Disney Cruises with him since he was 6-months old so I'm happy to share my thoughts on whether or not you should bring a stroller.
In my opinion, bringing a stroller for your 2-year old will come in handy during your Disney Cruise. Not only will you be able to use it in the cruise terminal while checking in as well as at the end of your voyage during debarkation, you can also use it around deck and throughout the corridors once onboard. When my son was smaller, we brought his stroller along. Now that he's bigger and uses a wheelchair, which is much larger, we've still had no problems maneuvering him while onboard any of the ships. If your toddler's stroller resembles an umbrella stroller (or something of that size), I don't see you having any issues navigating the spaces throughout the ship. Also, did you know each stateroom has elevated wooden bed frames that allow under-bed storage? If your little one is doing great walking around the ship each day and the stroller is collapsable, you should be able to store it under the bed and out of the way when it's not in use!
If you decide not to bring a stroller but realize you wish you had one once onboard,
Guest Services offers a limited supply of complimentary strollers at a first-come, first-served basis. If they are available, a refundable deposit is required for each stroller in order to borrow one.
I wish you an incredible cruise aboard the Disney Magic! If you have any other questions, please stop by and "sea" us again!
