    My 10 year old is on the dining plan. Will she be able to order from the children's menu? She is a picky eater and doesn't eat much.

    We've had a very similar situation from time to time and we've never had a problem when we explain to our server that we'd like to order a kid's meal for an "adult" (albeit, the "adult" in question won't be old enough to drive for several years...!) Sometimes, they've even brought out an adult-sized portion of the kid items (i.e. more chicken, or a larger side) on an adult-style (not kid) plate, too. 

    On the other hand, there have also been times when we've simply told the server what the picky eater does (and does not) like (i.e., if there's pasta somewhere on the menu, they've allowed us to order a really big plate of pasta with butter, no red sauce, because that's what the child loves, etc.)

    Simply ask your server at each meal to see what your options are for your daughter. They really do want everyone to go home happy and well-fed!  We used this kind of situation several times, too, to expand a child's food preferences, even if only one food item a trip, even if it's only dessert. (Who knew a picky little one might like Key Lime Pie or creme brulee?) It's a start!

    Nevertheless, just be sure to ask for what you need; Walt Disney World servers are, far more than most, used to serving some of the pickiest little eaters on the planet, and yet they still call it the Happiest Place on Earth. Now that's culinary talent!
