My 4 year old is a diabetic. How can I get the nutritional info (specifically carb counts) for the kids meals?

The website allearsnet.com has some fabulous information about coping with diabetes while at Walt Disney World. Simply go to that site and search for the article titled, "Disney with Type 1 Diabetes." The book "Walt Disney World with Disabilities" by Stephen Ashley (available on Amazon and elsewhere) also includes some great information for diabetics.

For any guest with dietary restrictions, I would suggest that you explain your needs when making your dining reservations at 407-WDW-DINE, and then again as you are seated at your restaurant. If your reservation is flagged with a note about special food needs, very often the restaurant's chef will come out to personally speak with you about your needs.

To my knowledge, Disney does not have one central source of carb count information. Unfortunately you are going to have to do some investigating on a meal by meal basis.

I hope you and your daughter have a great trip.
