Hey Erica-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Oh, do I love being an Annual Passholder. I became an annual Passholder after researching the benefits and realizing I was going to spend at least 10 non-consecutive days in a Walt Disney World Theme Parks. 10 non-consecutive days is the breakpoint for it to be cost effective over day passes. Walt Disney World
Passholder Program offers so many benefits such as resort room, merchandise, tours and restaurant discounts. I know we have saved hundreds of dollars in dining and souvenirs expenses with our Passholder cards.
Let’s wade through the fuzzy math. A 5-Day Ticket is $315.00 for adults and a 10-Day Ticket is $365.00 but these tickets must be used within a 14 day period or they expire. Base tickets become less expensive per day the more you stay and play. Annual Passes come in
three options: Disney Platinum Plus Pass ($829.00), Disney Platinum Pass ($749.00) and Water Parks Annual ($110.00). Admission to all theme parks is unlimited with the first two options. The prices are lopsided but if you are planning several trips in one year the Passholder option is unbeatable. If you are going for a single trip then it is not worth the additional expense.
Disney Dad Tip: In order to receive your discounts as a Passholder, you will need to present your Passholder card to the Cast Member. Your MagicBand does not store or link that information.
Erica, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
