I have 14 & 10 year old daughters. We are planing our WDW vacation. My girls have not been since they were 8 & 4. Would it be silly to plan a charcter meal for them? Do you think it would be better for their age to attend a dinner show?

    Hi Darri!

Well, I have two boys that are 9 and 12, and the characters are a MUST on every visit.  It always surprises me a little, because they are both very "boyish" and don't really get into the "fantasy" and "magical" parts of Disney that I love so much.  But, they insist on doing a character meal each time we go, and they always want their photos taken and they love showing the characters their pins that they collect.

This being said, I also think your girls would love a dinner show.  My family loves the Hoop De Doo Musical Revue.  We try to go see it at least every other year.

If you can, I would recommend doing both.  My favorite thing about being at Disney is seeing the innocence come back out in my boys as they get older and more "mature"!  I would try to soak it all up and make these memories while you can!
