We (Me, my DH, our 22 year old daughter, our 7 & 2 year old) will be in WDW in June for 8 days. We are staying at the GF, and have booked a Deluxe Room, with a turret. Can anyone tell me about the room, we will have a crib, will we be one top of each o

    Hi Cheryl!

8 days is a great Disney stay! You and family should be able to accomplish most, if not all of your "must-do's." :-)

The Grand Floridian deluxe rooms are located in the main building. The Deluxe Room Turret suite offers a view of either the courtyard or pool. The rooms are a little over 650 square feet and about a 1/3 bigger than a standard room. There's a very large sofa, and 2 large windows which allow you to get a scenic view of the resort. The sofa is the biggest difference, it sort of stretches out the room, and gives a good alternative than always sitting on the beds. I believe the beds in this room can be either 1 king or 2 queens.

You should have enough comfortable room for the crib. The crib can slide in next to the bed or slid closer to the open sitting area.

I would definitely make sure you're at least getting the 2 queen beds deal. Also, though I'm not sure, you may check to see if the sofa is a pull-out bed or not.

Have fun in the sun this summer!
