    My 6 year old daughter and I will be travelling to Disney Aug 25-Sept 1 2013! I am interested in the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. I see that they accept the dining plan, but would we have to redeem 2 table services each here, not clear?

    The California Grill is the "best of the best" when it comes to dining, and this restaurant certainly has a million dollar view!  Looking out over the Magic Kingdom is absolutely amazing from this Contemporary Resort restaurant. 

    California Grill is considered "signature dining" and will use up 2 of your table service credits from your Disney Dining Plan. 

    OK, time for my total honest opinion.  While I love dining here, I have never taken my kids.  They just don't eat "fancy" foods, and they much prefer the 1 Table Service credit meal at the Chef Mickey buffet down on the 4th floor.  

    Important note:  The California Grill is currently closed for refurbishment with plans to reopen on August 31, 2013.  With the anticipation of the re-opening, getting reservations on "opening night" might be difficult, so you might just want to plan for this location on a future vacation.

    If you need some suggestions on nice restaurants that use 1 table service credit AND that your princess will enjoy, let me know!
