    My 8 year old daughter loves to run and routinely runs with us. Would she be able to unofficially run the 5K on Castaway Cay with us?

    Thanks for running by planDisney Melissa!  I'm happy that you are here.  The Castaway Cay 5k is for Guests ages 10 and older.  If you still decide to participate, I suggest you disembark as soon as the ship is cleared by port authorities so that you will have cooler weather and plenty of time to enjoy other activities with your daughter on Castaway Cay.

    The Castaway Cay Getaway Package is a great package for your day on Disney's private island.  You receive a 3-in-1 rental package: snorkel equipment for the day, float or innertube rental for the day, and a bicycle rental for one hour.  The snorkel equipment will help you find some exciting treasures in the Snorkeling Lagoon located at the Castaway Family Beach.  You will probably work up an appetite, so enjoy the buffet at Cookies BBQ or Cookies Too.

    Melissa, you will have a great vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line.  To make things a little easier, download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see all the onboard activities, including character greetings, hours of operation for Disney's Oceaneer Club or Disney's Oceaneer Lab, and your rotational dining schedule.
