    My 3 year old daughter loves The Lion King and Simba and Scar. Are there any character dining locations where we might catch any animals from The Lion King? Where is a good location to meet these characters?

    Hi Kendra,

    That is a great question.  It just so happens that the Garden Grove has a dinner buffet featuring characters from the Lion King.  It is a special buffet that, at least currently, is only available twice a week.  I would recommend calling (407)WDW-DINE and finding out when it will be held during your up coming vacation.  I have never been to the buffet, but I have reservation next Friday. 

    The Garden Grove is located at the Swan Resort. 

    We usually meet the characters in the front of the Animal Kingdom.  I believe only Timon and Rafiki are available to meet and greet. 

    The best place for a Lion King fan is the Festival of the Lion King.  Here your daughter can see a very large Simba.  If you get there very early and secure a front row seat, there is a chance that your daughter can get up and dance around at the end with some of the performers.
