    My 11 year old daughter LOVES flamingos. Is there any special experience having to do with the flamingos at Disney? She saw them last year when we went on the safari! Thanks!

    I love when my kids discover something new at a Walt Disney World Resort attraction or Resort Hotel that becomes a new passion for them. When we stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Animal Programs and Wildlife Discoveries that occur jumpstarted my daughter's love of animals that continues to this day.

    While the Greater Flamingoes are always presentable on Kilimanjaro Safaris, the exhibit and Flamingo Behaviour activity that occurs at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge gets you closer and interacting with them even more closely. You do not need to be a Guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to enjoy the experience however, I recommend that you obtain a Recreation Schedule for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge as the Flamingo Behaviour activity is subject to change or cancelation without notice.

    In addition, the Greater Flamingos are listed as being a part of 2 Tours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Savor the Savanna: Evening Safari Experience and Wild Africa Trek immerse you in the animals, dining, and grandeur of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and get you closer to the action than ever.
