Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa! Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question.
Melissa, when my youngest was not quite three, she looked so much older. She was big for her age and her long hair made her appear much older than she was. So, when I was planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort around that time, I wondered the same thing and was nervous about a Cast Member thinking I was not being honest about her age. Thankfully, I quickly realized Cast Members are the most fun-loving bunch! And while they asked me her age, it was never questioned, nor additional proof required. They also asked my princess how old she was. When she replied with her name and a smile instead, they welcomed us home without hesitation! I still giggle at that memory.
Age requirements at the most magical place on earth, outside of verification for things like proof of residency and alcoholic beverages for adults, run on the honor system. And you’re on the up and up, so hakuna matata! Just answer with your mousketeer’s age when asked and enjoy the magic and wonder with your princess during your visit.
Have you planned any special mother-daughter magic for your upcoming visit? I highly recommend the
Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room. A lovely and relaxing time of tea and pastries at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Or if you want to make your little lady feel like the princess she is, a pixie-dusted makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will transform her into royalty right before your eyes.
I hope you have an unforgettable time! If you have any additional questions, please do send those our way!
See ya real soon!
