    My 6 year old daughter and I are leaving for Walt Disney World February 9th. It will be just the two of us for our third trip. I was thinking Downtown Disney may be a fun place to have dinner. Is the Character in Flight hot air balloon fun for children?

    Hi Jennifer!

    This is a very popular attraction with families. As long as nobody is scared of heights I think most children do enjoy it. I personally think it is more enjoyable at night, but that is mostly personal preference. The balloon will not operate in "high winds" so keep that in mind. I suggest going on a very beautiful day when there isn't any wind. By the way, that is very close to the new Splitsville bowling center in Downtown Disney, another great attraction for families. It is not a normal bowling alley!
