Hello, Cecile! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
My daughter's first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort was when she was just 18 months old. When I was planning this vacation, it was such a pleasant surprise to learn that there were oodles of attractions that she could ride. At the theme parks, a child's height, not age, determines whether they are able to ride certain attractions. There are
numerous attractions that do not have any height restrictions which means even the littlest of Guests can ride. So, plan on enjoying "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Living with the Land, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and so many more.
During my daughter's first trip, we were really surprised by
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This attraction either completely captivated my toddler or put her right to sleep. Both were welcome reactions in my book!
When it's time for a diaper change or just a place for a quick rest, check out the
Baby Care Centers located in each park. They have large changing tables and some even have small toilets if you plan to be potty training during your visit. Additionally, they sell baby essentials and over-the-counter medication should you need anything on your trip.
I hope this information was helpful. Have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
