Hi John,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel – it’s nice to hear from you again! I have a Princess who is a soon-to-be “Disney Adult” and we are also planning a visit to Cinderella’s Royal Table, so I have recently done this #resEARch for myself.
Walt Disney World is a pretty flexible place when it comes to dining – I have friends who frequently order from the kids’ menu, either because the options appeal to their tastes, or because they want a smaller portion. Disney Dining recognizes that lots of kids who have reached the magical age of 10 and are now “Disney Adults” might still have kid-style tastes, and I’ve always found Cast Members very helpful when it comes to making mealtime work for my whole family.
At
Cinderella’s Royal Table, your daughter should be able to order from the kids’ menu, but she will be charged the adult price because of her age. I recommend talking to your server about your options in this situation, because sometimes they’re able to do things like providing your Princess with a larger portion of a kids’ meal selection. On a recent dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby, our server, seeing that my daughter loved feeling like a Disney Adult, brought her a Shirley Temple in a fancy glass with a pretty garnish. We took lots of pictures, she loved the drink, and now it’s one of her favorite Disney memories.
Have an enchanting time dining in
Cinderella Castle, John. There are so many special touches in this storybook dining experience, and I hope you and your family enjoy every bite and every lovely detail.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
