I have a 4 year old daughter and am cruising in October. Can she do a pedicure with me? I noticed the Fire and Ice was for 18+.

Ahoy, Brittney! I am thrilled to welcome you back to planDisney as you get ready for another adventure beyond the reef. I love your question! Getting a pedicure with my niece on the Disney Dream is one of my favorite memories. We had a big family vacation, but the pedicure was our time. Just the two of us and an incredible ocean view. It was the best!

The Fire & Ice pedicure is amazing! It is listed as restricted for 18+, but I have heard some teens have been able to get these with parental consent. With hot and cold therapy, essential oils and heating stones, it might not be the pedicure your little princess would enjoy. But if you are sailing aboard the Disney Wish or Disney Treasure, the Untangled Salon has options that are practically perfect. Once the magical day arrives and you hear that glorious "Welcome Aboard," you can visit the salon to schedule appointments. They may recommend a simpler pedicure for your daughter. The salon tends to be popular, so I would try to prioritize this on Embarkation Day.

Disney Cruise Line vacations are my favorite because there is so much to do. You can have special moments with your kids, date nights at Palo, quiet time by the 18+ pools, and big family time at dinner. There are so many opportunities to nurture the different relationships that bring so much joy to your life. It is a family vacation where everyone gets a vacation.

Once onboard and connected to the ship's wi-fi, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app lists all the activities available on your cruise. I always enjoyed the craft classes with my kids. On our last cruise, we made wooden magnets for our stateroom door. Even as teens, my kids get into these activities (which I could never get them to do at home if I tried).

You may also want to set an alarm 30 days before your cruise to try to get tickets for Royal Gathering, a special meet and greet with Disney's loveliest ladies. This event does not require a fee, but you do need a ticket. Reservations open at midnight 30 days before your cruise and go quickly.

Brittney, I hope your cruise is a dream and wish your heart makes, filled with special moments you will cherish forever. If you have any other questions, you know we are always happy to see you at planDisney!

    Magic Awaits!
