Hello Holly!
Welcome aboard on our
planDisney ship! We love having Guests sail the seven seas with us as we navigate the cruise planning waters together. So glad that you have a Disney itinerary booked for a mother-daughter vacation.
Aren’t you smart to want to make sure you have all the right travel documents for your voyage! As your child’s guardian, it is not necessary that you have a Minor Travel Consent Form signed by your husband. Disney Cruise Line allows you as the parent to make travel decisions on behalf of your minor child. If you would feel more comfortable having this document with you, it’s available by doing a quick Google search. Just make sure your husband signs it in front of a notary-that usually makes it official!
You may be thinking of the
Authorization For Minor To Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian Form, which authorizes an adult other than the parent or legal guardian to retain care, custody and control of a child during a Disney cruise.
This form is required in situations where a child is traveling
without a parent or legal guardian. But it doesn’t apply in your situation since you will be traveling with your kiddo.
So now that we have that all squared away, please feel free to launch more cruise questions our way. Wishing you a DREAMy voyage with your daughter!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
