How can my 15 year old daughter create an account for my disney experience app on her iphone. She is going with her high school class. It isn't allowing her to create an account.

    Hello Marc!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited about your daughter's upcoming adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! Experiencing it with her friends will be so special and if they are 13 years and older they will be able to connect their plans with their own My Disney Experience Account

I suggest trying again to make an account for your 15-year-old daughter but using a regular computer. I don't know why it won't let her create an account on the My Disney Experience Mobile App but I think it's worth a try to use a different type of technology. Make sure you are checking off that you agree to the My Disney Experience Terms and Conditions!

High schoolers will find many thrills while exploring Walt Disney World. If they are arriving after April 4, 2023, then I strongly suggest they try to get a Virtual Queue for Tron Lightcycle/Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Since there will be a group of them, as soon as they all make their own My Disney Experience Account they should connect on the Family & Friends List. Once they are linked and sharing their plans they can now work together to grab a boarding group for each of these experiences. Remember, you can only ride these two experiences once per day unless you purchase an Individual Lightning Lane as well or if you have access to the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours which provides an additional Virtual Queue opportunity. Extended Evening Hours are for those staying at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts and Villas. One other idea is to purchase at an additional price a ticket to a Disney After Hours event which would be great for a teenage night owl as it's an empty Park and snacks are included!

Just an FYI, many people don't know that payment information cannot be saved on the My Disney Experience Account when the user is less than 18 years old. As a result, this may be difficult if your daughter wishes to make a Mobile Food Order. I suggest providing a Disney gift card for her that has a set amount and she saves that information on the "Notes" app on her phone and copies the number into the payment screen when she is ready to check out. It helps with monitoring spending and there is less chance of losing a card such as during other transactions.

I do hope this helps. If you continue to have issues I would reach out to the My Disney Experience team

Let me know if you have any more questions as you have a friend in me!
