Guten tag, Robin! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I’m always thrilled to help a fellow resident of the North Star State!
It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is just a few days away, so let’s dig into your dining options when you visit
Biergarten Restaurant at EPCOT. This restaurant doesn’t include a ton of specific information on its
menu because it's a buffet, and the offerings are subject to change. You’ll see that the menu does mention an allergy guide is available at the restaurant, but if you don’t want to wait until the last minute to ensure there will be food to meet your needs, then I’d suggest contacting the
Special Diets team.
You can contact the Special Diets team at
special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and tell them about your dietary needs. They usually ask that guests not contact them until at least 14 days before their arrival, but you’ll want to reach out as soon as possible since your trip is just around the corner.
I’ve had the opportunity to dine at Biergarten Restaurant, and I completely understand why it’s one of your husband’s favorites. With all the delicious food and the polka band, it was like being at a real Oktoberfest celebration. I remember there being many gluten-free options at the time (menu and availability subject to change), such as the German sauerkraut sausage platter, roasted pork loin, and a large variety of salads. Again, I would consult with the Special Diets team to confirm what will be available during your trip.
Robin, I hope this information is helpful and that you have a splendid visit to the Vacation Kingdom. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Auf Wiedersehen and Magical travels!
Matt
