I am a 21 year old college student and I've been to Disney World 8 times. Now I am planning a trip for a group of 6 '1st-timer' friends and I (7 total) Jan. 2013. When should we expect to see 2013 prices released and which value resort would suit us best?

    Hi, Molly!

This sounds like a super fun trip for you and your gang!  Let's start with your resort choice.  I would opt for Pop Century.  You and your friends will get a kick out of seeing all the larger-than-life icons from decades past and the "groovy" Hippy Dippy pool!  Each room sleeps 4, so you can book 2 rooms for your group of 7.

Prices for 2013 should be posted within the next few weeks, usually no later than mid-summer.  At that time, you can book your vacation online, complete with room, tickets, and you can even add on the dining plan.

I am so excited for all of you for your Walt Disney World vacation!  Make sure all your friends pick-up a "First Visit" button to celebrate!   Take lots of pictures and have fun introducing your friends to Mickey Mouse and all of his friends!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
