Hi, Ashley, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Bringing a little Mouseketeer to the Disneyland Resort is a magical experience! Yes, you will need to
purchase a ticket for your 3 year old child to enter the parks. Pricing varies by age, and is broken down into two categories, ages 3-9 and ages 10+. Since you’re from California, you may also want to check out
this fantastic offer for Southern California residents to see if it works for you!
Here’s
a helpful guide for planning a Disneyland Resort vacation with a preschooler. You’re also going to want to get acquainted with the
Baby Care Centers, which are available in both parks. These centers are a great spot to change, feed, purchase toddler necessities, or simply take a break. They even offer tiny toilets for little ones who may be potty training. Be sure to ask for a sticker on your way out for a fun, free souvenir!
If you’re looking for a simple way to discover which attractions your little one can ride, check out the
Attractions page and filter by your child’s height. This is a great way to narrow down your options and make a plan before your arrival.
Lastly, I highly recommend
downloading the Disneyland app, which allows you to check wait times, use mobile ordering, and locate your favorite Characters.
Wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Kristin
