I have a 5 year old child with ADHD and I've been to Disneyland with him in the past but he cannot seem to stay calm while waiting in the lines. I was wondering if there was any service Disney provides for families who have children with ADHD?

    Hello Alexandra!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week. My son is autistic and also has issues waiting in some of the traditional queues.

First, I would head to Guest Services as soon as you arrive inside either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. You can ask a Cast Member about the Disability Access Service. They will then ask a few questions to determine what needs you have and how they can help you.

If you are given the Disability Access Service Card, you can then use that similarly to the FASTPASS at certain attractions. You would go to the FASTPASS entrance and show them your ticket that has the return time programmed on it when it is your designated time. They will then allow you to use the FASTPASS entrance to the attraction, cutting down some of the waiting. It does not work for all attractions and sometimes even in the FASTPASS queue there is still a bit of a wait.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
